Our new life adventure!

We have finally moved into our new home and can now enjoy our ‘new life adventures’ en France.
Stephen and I would like to put on record our very grateful and heartfelt thanks to you and your wonderful team at BVI. Without your constant support, guidance, help, patience and encouragement we know we wouldn’t be where we are today.
Our search for our dream home in France started five years ago but it took us until 2019 to find the perfect fit for us. The property we found ticked each and every box for us - the blue wisteria around the doors and windows, the river frontage, the pool, the AGA cooker ... and ´the project’ for our retirement together.
Unfortunately our purchase was thwarted with set backs from the start - a tenant farmer and bail that needed to be removed, and some interesting and challenging personalities in the mix.
Despite the challenges, the service we received from BVI was ´Top class’ and ´First rate’! The hard work and sheer determination of David Crews and Marion Guyot has to be applauded and we would be grateful if you could bring our personal thanks and gratitude to the attention of the Chairman and the Directors of the Board at BVI. David and Marion worked tirelessly on our behalf to get our purchase over the line. They were courteous and professional, helpful and knowledgeable, and a beacon of light throughout the process.
I would also like to take the opportunity to thank you for your personal intervention between Christmas and the New Year when things took a turn for the worst and the vendors pulled out of the sale. Through your efforts and negotiation we got the purchase back on track.
If things weren’t challenging enough at the start of the year, COVID-19 happened and the hiatus caused further challenges and set backs. During our darkest days of ‘shielding’ the BVI beacons of light shone through, keeping our dream alive and our sanity in check.
It has been a long and winding road, but thanks to everything you, David and Marion have done for us, we have reached our rainbow's end.
