Throughout the whole buying process, the staff at Beaux Villages Monflanquin were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. Nothing seemed like too much trouble and they made the whole buying experience completely hassle free. We would have really struggled without their constant support. It felt like we had someone holding our hand throughout and we feel blessed to have been so well looked after by Eric, Marion and Donna in particular. We highly recommend Beaux Villages to anyone looking for an estate agent in France - you can put your trust in them.
Nicola and Chris found our new home

We were extremely fortunate that Nicola was able to match our hopes and expectations to a property that was just going onto the market, we were shown a rural detached home with sufficient land for a good size allotment area and space to relax and enjoy the outside lifestyle we love so much. Being the first to view the property we were offered the asking price to secure the property which we completed on just 12 weeks later. Many thanks to Chris and Nicola.

Lindsay Low recently acted as our Estate Agent in the sale of our house in the Lot in South West France. The whole process only took a few months, largely thanks to Lindsay's energy, enthusiasm and “can-do” problem solving attitude, as well as her detailed knowledge of the continually changing bureaucratic and legal requirements. One of the first things she said to us was to treat the potential sale as a project, the best possible advice dealing with a potentially stressful event. Her contacts, local knowledge and excellent command of the French language were invaluable in getting us through the stream of required tests. Working with the Beaux Villages Estate Agency, and a talented photographer, she produced a beautiful and very professional brochure and online presentation. She encouraged us to distance ourselves from the actual viewings to let her do her job uninterrupted, also very sound advice. To summarise, we would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone either buying or selling a property.

Jacqui Reddin-Williams has just sold our house in the Charente and we could not be more satisfied with her help. We had the house on the market for several months with another estate agent – but as soon as we placed the house with Jacqui we started to see results. She was so enthusiastic about our house and she was able to share that enthusiasm with her clients. She was very professional and managed the relationship with our French buyers and our ourselves really well keeping us informed at every point in the sale. She worked hard to secure the price we wanted and was excellent at managing expectations of ourselves and the client. Amazingly the first and only viewing with Jacqui resulted in the sale which demonstrates that she really understood our house and matched it perfectly with the buyer.
Jacqui was always available to answer questions or provide advice on the phone or through messaging. Even after the signing of the compromis she continued to keep in contact. The final inspection went well and Jacqui provided us with information on how to manage the exchange of electricity and water contacts which have all gone smoothly. She really did make the experience a positive one.

Cannot recommend Beaux Villages enough!

The village home we found online in France was listed with Beaux Villages Immobilier, and though we were still in the US at the time, Thibaut Van Hoorebeke assisted us in making our dream of owning it a reality. He first completed a video walk through with us, and we made an offer before visiting France to see the home in person. He stayed in touch for all our questions and concerns throughout the months long process. Once we closed and were moving into our home Thibaut even set up our utilities for us as we do not speak French well enough to have done it ourselves. Cannot recommend him more, he was a delight to work with. Oh, and we should also mention the listing agent, Damien. He was very kind and accommodating in all our meetings. He and Thibaut worked well together. Thank you both!!

You were my chosen agent when selling my house in France, after considering a few different agencies, Heather you won the job as far as I was concerned because your attitude was practical and down to earth, whilst being frank in speaking & very honest. From the agency’s point, she represented & executed everything with her usual competent matter of fact effective attitude. No nonsense, got on and sorted things out. This was backed with the knowledge she had gained over selling more than 80 properties I gather. Along with the excellent team in the background at Beaux Villages. Which frankly are like a breath of fresh air in a very confusing market place in France. We did not have the smoothest of sales problems along the way, and it was at a very difficult time for us. But she was our hero and a buffer to keeping us sound when it was very overwhelming at times and I am most grateful to Heather. It’s the little things money cant buy like trust and honesty that are most valuable in life and her patience. So Heather I wish you well and would highly recommend you to anyone thinking of selling or buying. After a few vacations in France, we decided to look for a property that suited us and could serve as a second home. After some research, we came across "Beaux Villages Immobilier." We were initially drawn to this agency because of its clear and user-friendly website and the large selection of properties. After months of selecting and evaluating, we found a few candidate homes in the vast Charente region. We got in touch with Mrs. Nadia Van den Rym, who was helpful, friendly, and to the point (as expected, since she's also from Antwerp, just like us! Months of questions and answers passed until we finalized our list of candidate properties. A flight to Bordeaux later, we were able to check out the properties in person. Nadia had perfectly coordinated everything with her colleagues from the different regions, ensuring everything went smoothly. This was in October 2023... since February 2024, we have been the proud owners of a beautiful Charente farmhouse! Thanks to the entire Beaux Villages team, but especially to Nadia and Justin for the fantastic support during the first part of our French adventure. A bientôt!

Chris told us he would have it sold by the end of September and he was a man of his word - although we are just in the 10 cooling off period. The advertising he did was excellent with photos, video and drone footage and he was interested. Alexia was also brilliant at showing the property to the buyer.

We have met with Merrilees a number of times, and as newbies to the area, Merrilees showed us a variety of properties within her portfolio. Merrilees also introduced us to the area, the markets, and the surrounding areas. You couldn't hope for a better agent and guide to the area. I would highly recommend viewing properties with Merrilees as she helps you understand much more about the property and the surrounding area that you can't see when just viewing a place. She also has a great contacts list if you need things done. 5 stats is not enough.

Our experience with Nikki from Beaux Village was wonderful. We bought a holiday property in France whilst in Australia and she was professional and answered questions promptly. Not always an easy transaction to buy a property from overseas but she made it happen. A year later we decided we love France so much we will move here permanently. Again, Nikki orchestrated a seamless purchase of our forever home. We wouldn’t use anyone else, highly recommend!
