From our initial contact with Sean in the office at Aubeterre on a warm summer’s holiday afternoon in August 2023 to receiving the keys to our new home in France less than 6 months later, our experience with BVI was nothing short of sensational. Sean referred us to Mike in the Jonzac office who took over, organising a viewings tour for us in September - Mike was delightful to deal with, couldn’t be more helpful and informative and quickly grasped what we were looking for in a home in France. Be it luck or good judgement, the first house we looked at was the one! Then from the moment our offer was accepted through to completion just before Christmas, Mike and his team held our hands every step of the way, no questions were too silly and nothing was too much trouble ;o). Having bought and sold houses in the U.K. for over 50 years, I have had dealings with lots of different estate agents however, I can safely say that Eleonore Goodfellow of Beaux Villages in Bellac, is by far the best ever. Her meticulous attention to detail is refreshing and her conscientious and consistent approach to communication is nothing less that brilliant. I would have no reservations in recommending her services to anyone. From our first meeting, my wife and myself, were extremely pleased with the positive way she answered our numerous questions and followed up all of her actions with confirmation emails.
